Athanasios Psarikidis, MSc forester and environmentalist,graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, researcher (Researcher Registration Number: 23161) in study categories: 24 and 27 (Forestry and Environmental studies), holder of a Master's degree from the School of Forestry and Environmental - Natural Resources Management of the Democritus University of Thrace.He is specialized  in the Sustainable Management of the Environment and Natural Resources, and has been part of severalwildlife research projects. He hasmany years of experience in the preparation of Forestry and Environmental studies, Special Ecological Assessments,monitoring programs of operating Wind Power Stations,as well asconsulting services during their Environmental Impact Studies. .He has also been involved in the development of intelligent - automated systems(i.e., Zephyrus System)to mitigate the impacts  of Wind Power Stations in avifauna, in collaboration with University Institutions in Greece , with many years of experience in the analysis of primary data from installed automated monitoring systems in Wind Power Plants. Since 2008 he cooperates with several active companies in the field of renewable energy sources such as EDF Hellas, EREN Hellas, REN VALOREM Hellas, ROKAS RENWABLES, SIEMENS GAMESA, SILCIO S.A. , etc.
